Late 2010, Fleur Jack became the 51st artist in the world to successfully raise to target on the website funding platform Sellaband. She raised 9000 Euro on the website and utilised the funds to record her debut solo album, "Ghosts of Cimarron". The album was recorded with a live band in May 2011 at The Lab Studios (Auckland) with Oliver Harmer as engineer. The vocals were recorded at Sloth Studios in Auckland by Fleur's stepdad Andy Tait. The tracks were mixed at The Lab and then sent to Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood for mastering. Bernie Grundman is most famous for mastering Michael Jackson's Thriller album.
“Ghosts of Cimarron” is due for release April 2nd 2012 through Rangi Records and available for purchase online through www.amplifier.co.nz

This album has a very mellow country/folk vibe with a few great biting rock songs mixed in. Fleur Jack’s lyrical style is very feisty and honest. The contrast of tough as nails lyrics and acoustic folksy music proves to be a winning combination.
